Because of a change in law, owners of oldtimers (cars from before 1987) will now have to start paying road taxes for their old car.
Many people don't want to start paying money for their formerly free of road tax cars, and are putting them up for sale.
Because that law will be enforced 1st of 2014, many people want to sell them as fast as possible. Especially LPG cars and Diesels.
This sadly also means, that many people who can't sell their oldtimer before 2014, will be scrapping them...
Save all the oldtimers!

Was looking for you, all I could find is a Daihatsu Copen or a Toyota Landcruiser .
The rest were all Land Rovers , I'm sure you have enough of those over there!

What about a link to the Copen? Although I was hoping for an XJ-S.

If we find a car we want and we buy it, does it have to leave the country to avoid the fees? Or could we put it in storage unregistered and pick it up later?

Nice haul. I thought that M3 looked a steal until I noticed the mileage. The Spider's very nice at that price. Not many around here with such low mileage.
It's mainly for a friend, so if you see anything interesting with an auto box let me know too :)
